Supercomputer predicts result of West Ham vs Burnley in Premier League showdown
West Ham have been tipped to make it consecutive Premier League wins at the London Stadium for the first time this season on Saturday.
On Sunday, West Ham beat Newcastle United 3-1 at the London Stadium, in what felt like a real turning point for Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side.
It was a massively improved performance from the Hammers, who dominated proceedings throughout.
Nuno made several changes against Newcastle and was rewarded in a big way when Freddie Potts put in a brilliant showing at the base of the midfield.
Potts has been compared to Declan Rice in the wake of the game, with the young midfielder seemingly popping up everywhere on Sunday.
Next up is a huge six-pointer against Burnley.

West Ham favourites vs Burnley
Callum Wilson impressed against Newcastle, with the striker handed his first-ever start for West Ham since signing in the summer.
The striker has been forced to sit behind Niclas Fullkrug for much of the season, despite eclipsing the German’s goal tally for the season when he came off the bench against Nottingham Forest.
Against his former side, Wilson did not do anything overly impressive in his 61 minutes on the pitch, but it was his presence that drove the Hammers up the pitch.
The 33-year-old’s perseverance constantly drew the Magpies’ defenders away and created the space needed for the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen.
Wilson is expected to start against Burnley on Saturday, too, a game that Opta‘s supercomputer has given West Ham a 47.4 per cent chance of winning.
Burnley have been given a 26.4 per cent chance of emerging victorious at the London Stadium, while 26.2 per cent has been allocated for the scores ending level.

Burnley have struggled away from home
Burnley were beaten by Arsenal on Saturday, with Viktor Gyokeres and Rice scoring at Turf Moor to hand Scott Parker’s side only their second Premier League loss at home this season.
Where the Clarets have struggled has been away. Burnley have lost four of their five league fixtures played away from Turf Moor this season.
| Burnley – away | Date |
| Wolves 2-3 Burnley | 26 Oct |
| Aston Villa 2-1 Burnley | 5 Oct |
| Manchester City 5-1 Burnley | 27 Sep |
| Manchester United 3-2 Burnley | 30 Aug |
| Tottenham 3-0 Burnley | 16 Aug |
Their one win from those five came against the side who currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League, Wolves.
That being said, Burnley have faced a difficult run on the road, facing Tottenham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Aston Villa.
West Ham will hope to join that list on Saturday, with Nuno attempting to build on the momentum gained from Sunday’s superb display.
