Soungoutou Magassa woeful, 2/10 his usual dreadful self – West Ham player ratings vs Wolves
West Ham suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat away to Wolves.
Nuno Espirito Santo will have no leg to stand on if he faces the sack this weekend, with his West Ham side beaten in embarrassing fashion against Wolves.
Jhon Arias opened his account for Wolves after four minutes, with Soungoutou Magassa largely at fault after a poor attempt to win the ball in midfield.
Magassa was again at fault 27 minutes later, when his lazy challenge saw Wolves awarded a penalty, with Hee-Chan Hwang dispatching to give his side a 2-0 lead.
At 2-0 down, it felt as though things couldn’t get any worse, and yet Mateus Mane added a third for the hosts 10 minutes later.
Wolves saw out the remainder of the game, with West Ham failing to even register a single shot on target.
As for Nuno, it will be a miracle if he survives that.
What does Soungoutou Magassa actually offer?
West Ham as a whole were shocking, but Wolves’ first two goals came directly from an error from Magassa.
The opening goal stemmed from him losing a midfield battle, with a silly foul then leading to the penalty that Wolves took advantage of.
His passing was generally tidy, though that does not make up for the defensive shambles of a performance he put on – he offered no security whatsoever against a side that had been tipped to finish with the lowest points tally in Premier League history.
Magassa has been a regular starter for West Ham since the arrival of Nuno, but his performance against Wolves will put that in serious jeopardy.

West Ham need to get rid of Max Kilman, he’s a liability
While this sentence is fitting for most players this season, Max Kilman really has been dreadful this time around.
It was no different against Wolves, where he failed to compete physically and looked lost whenever he was asked to defend.
He failed to win a single aerial duel in the first half, made just one tackle, and won just one of his ground duels.
Those stats barely improved in the second half, with the former Wolves defender going on to lose another seven duels.
Kilman is an absolute liability, and if he keeps starting, West Ham will be relegated before they even have a chance to realise it.
