Sky Sports reporter stunned by ‘brilliant’ Pablo Fornals in West Ham United win v Bournemouth
West Ham attacker Pablo Fornals showed “fantastic improvisation” with his “brilliant” goal against Bournemouth on Sunday (23 April), according to Sky Sports reporter Dan Sansom.
The Spaniard scored his club’s fourth and final goal in their 4-0 Premier League victory over the Cherries.
The superb win means the Hammers climb up to 13th in the table, with David Moyes’s side now six points away from the relegation zone.

“That is a brilliant finish from the substitute,” said Sansom, as quoted by Sky Sports. “Not quite sure how he’s managed to put that into the back of the net.
“It’s fantastic improvisation. Game over now, if it wasn’t already.”

Commanding display
Fornals had only been on the pitch for seven minutes before he found the back of the net, having come on as a substitute for Said Benrahma in the 65th minute.
He was one of five West Ham players to be introduced in the second half by Moyes, with the boss giving his regular starters some much-needed rest after their Europa Conference League exploits on Thursday (20 April).
Fornals has had a strange season at the London Stadium, having been used heavily in the early stages of the campaign but dropping to the bench in recent times for the league fixtures.
That has allowed the winger to play more regularly in Europe, with Moyes constantly rotating his squad in order to keep all of his players as fresh as possible as they try and win the Europa Conference League and stay in the Premier League at the same time.
The Hammers are now flying high in all competitions after major struggles not so long ago, and Fornals will undoubtedly play a key role for his manager in the coming weeks as they continue their push towards a strong end to the season.
