West Ham started poorly at the London Stadium and fans reacted negatively to the players just minutes after kick-off.
Dean Ashton covered the game for Sky Sports (6 November, 14:05pm) and revealed the fan discontent at the London Stadium.
“It’s been all Crystal Palace. And already – I’ve been there – the West Ham fans will groan. It’s only a few minutes in and they’re already moaning. And rightfully so – it’s been a slow start,” said Ashton.

West Ham started really poorly against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, but luckily found themselves in front than to Benrahma’s strike.
However, as pointed out by Ashton – fans were right to be concerned about the start to the match. The players seemed to lack energy in the opening few minutes and looked overwhelmed by Crystal Palace’s energy.
David Moyes will consider himself lucky to be leading, but will still be wanting to rip into his players over their attitude at the start of the match.
With a huge chance for West Ham to climb into the top half of the table this weekend, Moyes needs to make sure the players start the second half with more intensity and energy, otherwise, they could quickly find themselves under huge pressure again.
Benrahma’s goal seemed to settle the side down a little more, but West Ham won’t always be able to rely on scoring against the run of play and the start on Sunday needs to be avoided in future matches.
