Pablo injury latest as six could miss out in West Ham United vs Burton Albion
Pablo has been ruled out of West Ham United’s FA Cup tie with Burton Albion on Saturday after picking up a serious injury.
The January signing missed West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Tuesday evening, and Nuno Espirito Santo has now confirmed that he is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
While the details of the injury are yet to be revealed, Nuno said that it was a ‘big blow’ to lose the Brazilian.
Pablo is one of six players who are set to miss the FA Cup fourth-round clash at the Pirelli Stadium, through various injuries and suspensions.

Jean-Clair Todibo and Lukasz Fabianski unavailable
As well as Pablo, Jean-Clair Todibo is unavailable for the game against Burton, as the centre-back serves the third of a three-game suspension.
Todibo was sent off during the 3-2 defeat to Chelsea at the end of January for grabbing Joao Pedro’s throat.
A brawl kicked off in the corner at Stamford Bridge, sparked by an incident between Adama Traore and Marc Cucurella, with Todibo flying in and getting himself dismissed.
Elsewhere, Nuno revealed in his pre-match press conference that he has no new injuries, meaning that Lukasz Fabianski is the only other absentee, as he continues to deal with a back issue.
As for Burton, they will be without Charlie Webster, who is still recovering from surgery on his ankle.
The midfielder is close to a return, but this Saturday’s FA Cup tie will come too soon for him, according to boss Gary Bowyer.
Dylan Williams and Julian Larsson are both also expected to miss out for the Brewers, taking the total tally of absentees for both teams to six players.
How could West Ham line up?
A break from the Premier League relegation fight could give Nuno the opportunity to rotate his squad.
Keiber Lamadrid could be in line for his first West Ham appearance since joining on an initial loan deal from La Guaira in January.
Young centre-back Ezra Mayers started in the Hammers’ third-round win over QPR, and may be set for more minutes on Saturday.

Nuno has confirmed that Alphonse Areola will start between the sticks, and first-team regulars like Axel Disasi and Aaron Wan-Bissaka could still be included to ensure the East London side advance without any trouble.
