Nuno Espirito Santo torn to shreads as BBC pundit left laughing at ‘crazy’ West Ham decision in Leeds defeat
West Ham fell to a 2-1 defeat away to Leeds United on Friday.
Nuno came under pressure after the Brentford defeat, in what was a shambolic performance at the London Stadium.
West Ham lost 2-0 to Brentford, but it really should have been made worse by the Bees after their countless number of chances.
Things didn’t get better for West Ham against Leeds United after conceding two early goals at Elland Road.
Brenden Aaronson and Joe Rodon netted to pile further pressure on Nuno in what is only his fourth match in charge of the Hammers.

Clinton Morrison baffled by Nuno Espirito Santo vs Leeds United
Ollie Scarles started for West Ham against Brentford, and the home faithful were generally happy to see the youngster in the squad.
It was strange to see him feature on the right, as opposed to his more natural position on the left of a back four.
This didn’t work, and in the end, the Irons fell to an embarrassing, deserved defeat against Keith Andrews’ men.
Clearly, Nuno didn’t learn from this and decided to operate in the same fashion against Leeds before the youngster was ultimately forced off.
Speaking via BBC Radio Five Live on 24 October, Clinton Morrison was left confused by this choice as he piled into the Portuguese head coach.
He said: “What makes me laugh is West Ham are playing three centre-halves. Nuno complicates everything. It is crazy.“
Nuno got West Ham setup wrong vs Leeds
A 4-4-2 system was played out in the early exchanges at Elland Road, with Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen leading the line.
El Hadji Malick Diouf started as a left-winger, while Scarles and Aaron Wan-Bissaka started on the opposite side to their usual positions.
This was genuinely bizarre and only improved when the young Englishman was forced off with an injury after 25 minutes.
Callum Wilson came on and gave the Hammers a focal point, even if it wasn’t too effective for the away side.
Things didn’t get better in the second half, and now Nuno is at genuine threat of being sacked within just weeks of taking the West Ham job.
