Nuno Espirito Santo has six-year record to protect ahead of Bournemouth vs West Ham
West Ham have a strong recent history against Bournemouth, with the latest instalment set to take place on Saturday.
Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to make changes against Bournemouth, with the Hammers dealing with several injury doubts.
In his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Nuno confirmed that Freddie Potts is among those recovering from injury, with the West Ham boss also revealing that some issues have been picked up from the international break.
The Irons had finally hit some form ahead of the break, beating Newcastle United and Burnley in consecutive Premier League games.
Bournemouth are the favourites against West Ham, but Nuno will be confident that his team can pick up where they left off before the break on 22 November.

West Ham’s strong record against Bournemouth
Despite the disparity in league positions last season, West Ham managed to earn two points from their two fixtures against Bournemouth.
The latter, played at the London Stadium in April, saw the Hammers equalise through Niclas Fullkrug before taking the lead courtesy of Jarrod Bowen.

Evanilson’s double would ultimately see Graham Potter‘s team forced to settle for a point, but Nuno will hope for more on Saturday.
West Ham have played Bournemouth nine times since the start of 2019, winning four of them and losing none.
The most notable, from a Hammers perspective, came in 2023, when West Ham travelled to the Vitality Stadium and left having scored four goals without reply.
Pablo Fornals’ stunner lights up perfect day on the coast
The 2022-23 season will go down in West Ham history for many reasons, and the late trip to Bournemouth will be a good memory from it.
Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta had both scored early in the game through thumping headers, before Declan Rice added a third with a well-struck half-volley.
The highlight would come mid-way through the second half, however. Bowen’s cross looked to be behind Pablo Fornals, but the Spaniard improvised with an ingenious scorpion kick, which made its way past Neto in the Bournemouth goal.
The events in Prague would follow just two months later, marking a historic season for the Hammers.
