Nuno Espirito already makes brave call as West Ham XI announced vs Everton
Nuno Espirito Santo is preparing for his first West Ham game in the dugout against David Moyes’ Everton.
Nuno has already chosen to leave James Ward-Prowse at home, with the midfielder not traveling with the squad to Merseyside.
The 30-year-old has been left out for tactical reasons, and he doesn’t appear to be in Nuno’s plans, despite the pair working together during their time at Nottingham Forest.
Max Kilman starts, having also worked under Nuno at Wolves, and the Hammers are looking to avoid a sixth defeat of the season, and his team selection bodes well.

Soungoutou Magassa starts vs Everton
West Ham have come under fire for their treatment of Graham Potter, with David Sullivan interviewing managerial candidates behind his back.
Protests against the Hammers hierarchy are set to continue in the coming weeks, but the mood around the London Stadium is a lot better than last weekend.
Nuno is looking to get off to a good start against Everton, and some surprising changes to the starting lineup could help him do so.
It was no secret that Nottingham Forest tried to rival the Hammers for the signature of Soungoutou Magassa in the summer.
Nuno is now taking the advantage to use the 21-year-old against Everton.
- Magassa was signed for £20million from Monaco in the summer
- He has yet to start for the Hammers
- The youngster struggled coming off the bench vs Crystal Palace
The midfielder makes his first start for the Hammers, with Freddie Potts also included on the bench after Ward-Prowse was dropped.
Niclas Fullkrug has been favoured over Callum Wilson up front by the 51-year-old, with goalscoring a real problem in East London.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s starting XI is refreshing for West Ham fans
It is refreshing to see a manager put his own spin on a starting eleven, especially after such a tough period.
By starting Magassa, Nuno has done just that, and instantly showed his class in comparison to former Hammers boss Potter.
West Ham now have a really good chance at going for all three points against Everton, something which seemed unattainable just days ago.
Nuno has also continued with Alphonse Areola over Mads Hermansen in goal, after the France international showed promise against Crystal Palace
