With the arrival of Lopetegui, the London Stadium faithful wanted to see the team progress and take the initiative in games.
But the Spaniard failed to stamp his authority on the team during the time he has been at the Hammers, and it doesn’t look like things will change anytime soon, considering the display against Everton.
The Irons made significant investments in the team during the summer, and they shouldn’t be anywhere near the relegation zone with the quality of the players.

David Sullivan reportedly [The Telegraph, 7 November] had no intention of sacking Lopetegui, regardless of the result against Everton, but the owners need to rethink that stance.
With the international break, the club have the opportunity to bring in a new manager to try and turn things around against Newcastle United on 25 November.
