Masuaku and Coufal react to Benrahma's strike for West Ham against Brentford
West Ham United ran out 1-0 winners during a pre-season friendly against Brentford today, with Said Benrahma grabbing the goal against his former side.
The 25-year-old Algerian attacking midfielder was returning to the Brentford Community Stadium for the first time since he left for the London Stadium, and he reminded his old club of his quality with a wonderful strike.
Benrahma picked the ball up from 25 yards out before striking it brilliantly into the top right-hand corner and the watching Arthur Masuaku and Vladimir Coufal were left impressed, reacting to it on their personal Twitter accounts after West Ham uploaded the goal.

Huge season ahead
Benrahma joined the Hammers from Brentford in October 2020 initially on loan before the move was made permanent in January 2021.
He ended last season with a goal and six assists in 30 Premier League games, but everyone really expected more.
Nevertheless, we believe that the winger has it in him to take the top-flight by storm, and his pre-season form has been excellent.
Benrahma scored 27 goals and made 23 assists in two Championship seasons for the Bees, and now has to prove that he can replicate that form in the Premier League with West Ham.
Going by what we have seen in recent weeks, the attacker is ready for his second season at the London Stadium, and we are getting excited about what is ahead.
With a deal for Jesse Lingard looking increasingly difficult to strike, Benrahma could be the perfect man for the job, and manager David Moyes would be counting on him to deliver the goods.
We need him to show what he is made of in the Europa League too, and playing on the continent should be an added incentive.
He now has to show consistency if he wants to start more games, and given that he can play behind the striker and on both wings, getting regular game time should not be a problem.
In other West Ham news, Hammers are ready to offer player highly incentivised contract, Moyes wants him.
