Kurt Zouma was furious after West Ham loss against Wolves

West Ham defender Kurt Zouma was visibly angry after the loss against Wolves and walked straight into the tunnel at full-time on Saturday.

Football London’s Thomas Clark claims that while a bunch of players applauded the travelling support after the 1-0 loss, the Frenchman was not one of them.

He was followed into the tunnel by Declan Rice, who Clark did not see thanking the fans either.

Via his personal Twitter account, he wrote, “Kurt Zouma straight down the tunnel and clearly fuming with that. Rice quickly follows shaking his head. Cresswell, Vlasic and Johnson over to clap the fans, Antonio follows suit as does Moyes and Bowen.

“To clarify I am not saying Dec did not clap fans (he might have done, I didn’t see) just that he was second down tunnel after Zouma and was clearly angry as he walked off.”

Bad day at the office

It was a forgettable performance from most players in the Hammers side.

None of them really seemed up for it and were deserved losers on the afternoon.

West Ham started the game strongly, but once Wolves managed to find their feet, they completely dominated the visitors.

Until the last few minutes, where the Hammers kept probing the ball forward, there were comfortable spells of possession from the hosts.

We’re unsure as to why Zouma was so angry as his performance wasn’t the worst on the day.

The likes of Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma put in disappointing shifts and they had every reason to be frustrated with their displays.

Hopefully, this is one bad day at the office and the Hammers can return to winning ways next weekend.
