Jarrod Bowen shines, 4/10 flops – West Ham player ratings v Ipswich
West Ham finished the Premier League season with three points after a 3-1 victory for Graham Potter’s side against Ipswich Town.
The two sides looked to be going into half-time inseparable, but James Ward-Prowse’s goal in the 43rd minute gave the Hammers the lead.
Ipswich levelled things seven minutes after the break, but Jarrod Bowen was on hand to score his fourth consecutive league goal and retake the lead minutes later.
Mohammed Kudus put the game to bed in the 87th minute, scoring the goal to give his side a 3-1 win to finish a forgettable season on a high.

Potter given clear instructions for West Ham
It’s set to be a busy summer for Potter, with the pressure already on for him to put his stamp on the West Ham squad ahead of the new campaign.
David Sullivan will be expected to back him financially, although PSR restrictions do mean the Irons will need to offload players too, to increase the level of resources available.
With nothing but Premier League position to play for in the game, Potter had the opportunity to assess his side for one final time before the summer.
Wan-Bissaka has been hailed in East London throughout the campaign, winning the West Ham player of the season award for his impressive performances.
The wing-back backed that up at Portman Road and will no doubt serve as a massive boost for Potter as a player who will surely be part of the foundation of the squad to be built upon next term.

Scarles grew into the game against Ipswich and will surely continue to be given the opportunities by the manager to continue his progression, with a full pre-season a big boost.
If the resources to make additions are not there, it will be time to look at the other young players in the set-up at the London Stadium, with the potential to bring fresh legs into the side, following Scarles’ footsteps.
Unsurprisingly, Bowen performed for the Hammers once more, and while a sale would boost financial issues, supporters will be desperate to see their starman stay put.
A disappointing performance from Fullkrug, however, will have served as a reminder for Potter that reinforcements are certainly needed in the final third, as Evan Ferguson prepares to head back to Brighton at the end of his loan spell.
