Jamie Carragher predicts West Ham United vs Everton result for Sky Sports
West Ham are set to be held to a draw at home when Sean Dyche visits with his Everton side this weekend, according to Jamie Carragher.
The former Liverpool defender predicted a point apiece for the two teams in his Sky Sports predictions on the broadcaster’s website on 26 October, with a 1-1 scoreline his expected result.
Both sides were beaten last weekend, with the Hammers on the wrong end of a bruising 4-1 defeat at Aston Villa while the Toffees suffered a controversial 2-0 reverse at the home of their heated rivals in the Merseyside derby.

Despite just one win in their last five Premier League outings David Moyes has the Irons sitting in ninth, two points outside the European places.
Opportunity
Based on their opponents’ struggles over the past couple of years West Ham are bound to be looking at the visit of Everton as a chance to get back on track with a win.
It is still a dangerous game however, as two of their best results so far this term came away to teams that the Hammers might consider contemporaries in recent seasons with back-to-back wins at Brentford and Villa earlier this month.
So Moyes can’t take his former side lightly even if he is likely to be disappointed if he has to settle for a point on Sunday (29 October).

The excellent start to the league campaign that West Ham made has given way to much more stuttering form domestically, and failure to win this weekend is likely to start dredging up memories of a floundering Premier League season a year ago.
Moyes barely kept hold of his job last term and, any European success aside, is unlikely to remain for the long term if he presides over any similar struggles again.
He is already out of contract in the summer and, even if he isn’t sacked in-season, it would significantly reduce his chances of being offered an extension if his team falls away and drops down the table.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are on the trail of an in-demand sensation with an £86million release clause who is attracting a lot of Premier League interest.
