Fabianski axed in three changes – West Ham confirmed XI v Aston Villa
Graham Potter has brought Alphonse Areola into his side as part of three changes to his West Ham starting line-up to face Aston Villa.
The Hammers have travelled to Villa Park for their Premier League clash as Potter seeks revenge after losing his first game as West Ham boss against Villa in the FA Cup.
West Ham confirmed their starting line-up for the game via X (26 January) and has opted to bring in Areola for Lukasz Fabianski after losing 2-0 away at Crystal Palace (18 January).
The boss was also forced to be without Konstantinos Mavropanos after he received a red card last time out with Vladimir Coufal coming into the side as well as Carlos Soler replacing Guido Rodriguez.
Graham Potter switches it up for West Ham
Potter has decided to swap his goalkeepers around for this game and provide Areola with his 12th Premier League appearance this term in the hope that he can make it three clean sheets for the campaign.
This will be a tough game for the Hammers who face a strong Villa side on their home turf but Potter will be hoping he has drilled his side enough to pull something out of the bag.
After their loss against Crystal Palace last Saturday, the Irons need to put this right and get back to winning ways as they showed they can pick up all three with their victory against Fulham.

The boss will be hoping to bring new faces in before the end of the winter transfer window, even though Villa’s Jhon Duran looks to be unachievable, as he aims to strengthen his squad.
With Niclas Fullkurg, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio all out with injuries, there is a concern in East London over where the goals are going to come from but this gives the chosen players a chance to step up.
In other West Ham news, a spokesman has dropped a major Brian Brobbey transfer update.
