BBC presenter stunned by ‘crazy’ never-before-seen Mohammed Kudus moment for West Ham
Jason Mohammed was stunned by Mohammed Kudus’ goal celebration after putting West Ham United ahead against Ipswich Town.
The Hammers secured their first home win of the campaign with a 4-1 victory against the Tractor Boys on Saturday (5 October) – the Ghana international scoring their second of the day.
After nodding past Arijanet Muric, the 24-year-old grabbed a stool before sitting down directly in front of the away fans which bemused Mohammed on BBC Final Score (5 October, 3:45pm).
He said: “It’s a crazy goal celebration. He nicks the stool off the ball boy and sits down by the corner. I’ve not seen that before.”
Mohammed Kudus stuns for West Ham v Ipswich Town
After being hooked at half time last time out against Brentford, fans were worried for the future of the forward in East London.
This certainly didn’t help ease any tension surrounding the future of Julen Lopetegui, who has come under fire at the start of the season.
Any issue between the pair appears to have been quashed with the Ghanaian starting at the London Stadium against the newly-promoted side and having a telling impact.
The former Ajax man was deserving of his goal and just looked too good for the Ipswich defence to deal with on multiple occasions.
Kudus arguably deserved more from the game in terms of output but that won’t bother fans or his manager after a positive 4-1 win.

Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta added to the winger’s goal to help ease the Irons to a the resounding victory.
Securing their first maximum point haul since 24 August will be a huge relief for Lopetegui after a difficult few weeks.
In other West Ham news, a Luis Guilherme stance has been revealed after a bonus-heavy Tim Steidten deal.
