Axel Disasi and Crysencio Summerville react to West Ham United scenes vs Millwall

The Dockers Derby returned with a bang for West Ham United against Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw at the New Den, but it was packed with drama throughout.

Millwall were two goals ahead through Caleb Taylor and Camiel Neghli before the break.

But, the Hammers fought back.

Mohamadou Kante scored first, before being sent off, as Konstantinos Mavropanos headed home once again to secure a point.

It wasn't just the new Irons loving the late goals, but those of old gathered to show their appreciation, with Axel Disasi and Crysencio Summerville spotted.

How did West Ham react to late scenes vs Millwall?

It was one of relief and joy to silence the home crowd in this one.

They thought they were on their way to three points and bragging rights, but were firmly placed back in their seats in the final 10 minutes.

Mavropanos celebrated the point on his personal Instagram account, admitting he wanted more for the "incredible" supporters.

Disasi was quick to send a message in Greek, which translates to something far from complimentary, in an hilarious manner.

Summerville also liked the post to show his appreciation.

Manor Solomon, Max Kilman and Taty Castellanos also left comments to celebrate their teammate yet again.

Is Konstantinos Mavropanos the best defender the Championship has ever seen?

In terms of attacking output, it's getting somewhat freakish.

There can't have been a time when a central defender looks likely to score in every single game he plays in.

Especially when you consider just how physical the Championship is with towering defenders, compared to the Premier League.

With four goals alongside Jarrod Bowen, Mavropanos has only been outscored by Cyle Larin and Will Lankshear.

Nuno Espirito Santo will love having that sort of weapon available to him, especially when the going gets tough.

It was great work from Solomon to chip a ball into the box, and if that delivery is right, Mavropanos will always have more than a good chance.

Heading into the extended international break only two points off top spot after a slow start is perfect.

And Mavropanos will be raring to go again next month.
