Positive vibes are starting to emerge from all quarters of West Ham United as they go strength to strength both on the pitch and behind the scenes.

On Tuesday night, Nuno Espirito Santo led the Hammers to the summit of the Championship table with a hard-earned win away at Bolton Wanderers.

Star man Jarrod Bowen scored twice, either side of a Konstantinos Mavropanos goal in a 3-2 victory in Lancashire.

With three wins on the bounce, all by scoring three or more goals, the opening-day collapse at Burnley and the following home defeat to London rivals Charlton have been all but forgotten and forgiven.

But as things improve on the pitch, the state of play off it has also been under the microscope lately, with Daniel Kretinsky set to become the East London club's largest shareholder.

And news has emerged of when he could complete that deal to buy the late David Gold's shares from his family trust.

Daniel Krestinky agreement state of play

It was announced earlier this month that Kretinsky is set to boost his ownership of West Ham to 46 per cent after agreeing a deal with Vanessa Gold.

David Sullivan has stepped out of the limelight at the London Stadium due to allegations made against hm in a BBC Panorama documentary earlier this year.

He's still attending matches but is no longer West Ham chairman despite the fact his shareholding is set to rise from 38.8 per cent to 40 per cent.

BBC Sport has reported that the "complicated agreement" is expected to go through "within the next few weeks".

Minority shareholder Tripp Smith is also set to see his shareholding rise to 11 per cent.

Away from the ownership, there's also a cause for celebration in the offices at West Ham.

How are Karim Virani and Nils Koppen getting on?

It was a busy summer for West Ham, who had to make huge cuts after being relegated from the Premier League.

While the team was largely gutted like a fish, there were still some star players left behind like Bowen.

BBC Sport says that director of football Nils Koppen has the most influence in recruitment discussions, and that the whole process is now a "transparent affair", seemingly devoid of the frustrating Sullivan meddling that's dogged the club for years.

Interim CEO Karim Virani is also said to be making a "positive impression".

It is understood that he's been praised for engaging with supporters and dealing with issues that are important to them.
