Wolves ace Max Kilman claim emerges amid West Ham United transfer development
Wolves defender Max Kilman’s exceptional fitness record should see him clear his West Ham medical with ease, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the fact he played every minute of every game in the 2023/24 season means that there is something he does off the pitch in order to maintain that level of fitness.
The Hammers are keen on signing two new defenders this summer with the 27-year-old English centre-back understood to be one of them, according to The Times on 2 June.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
“Kilman was one of a few players to play every minute of every game in the 2023/24 season.
“That takes some doing and is a testament to incredibly high fitness levels.
“It could be down to his training methods, lifestyle, how he manages his time off the pitch, etc.
“This should be as straightforward a physical as any for the club to conduct.”
Max Kilman would be a quality addition to the West Ham side
Kilman’s former teammate Conor Coady waxed lyrical over him back in 2020 and hailed him as an “outstanding” player.
His consistent performances, the high number of headed clearances and possessions won higher up the itch highlight his defensive capabilities.
Kilman’s versatility in both back three and back four formations aligns with the club’s defensive needs.

Lopetegui will undoubtedly love to have a reunion with the player he worked with at Molineux.
In other West Ham news, Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has issued a ground-breaking claim as a Premier League rival club now wants to sign a first-team Hammers player.
