West Ham United to seal good business with Mohammed Kudus sale

West Ham United would conduct good business if they were to sell Mohammed Kudus for his release clause, Dan Plumley has said.

The Ghana international is said to be looking for an exit, but clubs have been told that the Irons will not sell for less than his £85million release clause [Sky Sports].

Plumley, a football finance expert, admitted that every player is for sale at the right price and a deal is there to be done for that figure.

“We’ve seen clubs more so in recent years holding firm on release clauses,” he exclusively told West Ham Zone.

“They are becoming part and parcel of player contracts, and the buying club has then got to be prepared to hit that.

Ultimately, if they do then that is absolutely good business for West Ham if that was to happen.

Mohammed Kudus to leave West Ham United?

Every player is for sale at the right price, as we know, and if that’s the release clause and it gets hit, that’s a very decent bit of business despite him being a very good player and again, it’s the nature of the market at the minute and release clauses, if you’re willing to pay them, there is a deal to be done.”

Liverpool are among the clubs named as interested in Kudus, but it has been said that they won’t fork out the £85million that has been mentioned [teamTALK].

Absolutely nothing can happen in January, especially if the Hammers want to turn things around at the London Stadium, so all eyes may be on next summer for Kudus already.

In other West Ham news, this Irons player could have his loan spell cut short in January amid new developments.
