West Ham United to make behind-the-scenes decision after signing new English striker
West Ham will monitor Brad Dolaghan’s workload carefully to avoid injuries after signing him from Worthing, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the English striker’s game time increasing in the second half of the season without him suffering any fitness issues is undoubtedly a positive sign.
This comes after the Hammers announced, via their official website on 16 August that the 19-year-old has moved to the London Stadium from Worthing.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
“After not featuring much in the first half of the season, his game time remarkably increased and he played most of the minutes without suffering injuries.
“The key for West Ham will be bridging any fitness gaps that he currently has and then carefully ramping up his on-pitch training and then match minutes.
“It’s all about workload monitoring to avoid injury setbacks, especially when players move to higher-intensity leagues.“
West Ham will have high hopes for Brad Dolaghan
The 19-year-old’s signing represents a promising addition to the club’s youth setup.
His goal-scoring prowess at Worthing, coupled with his experience in senior football, suggests he has the maturity and skill to bridge the gap to first-team football sooner rather than later.

This signing not only bolsters the club’s attacking options for the future but also reflects the Hammers’ broader strategy of nurturing talent from lower leagues, potentially yielding high returns with minimal risk.
In other West Ham news, the club are on the verge of signing a new free agent and ExWHUEmployee has issued a transfer update.
