West Ham United eye new transfer as Doctor reacts to £8m Ibrahim Maza update
Herta winger and West Ham target Ibrahim Maza may face knock on effects post his meniscus injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that should he move to the London Stadium, this is something that the Hammers medical staff will have to keep tabs on.
It’s understood that the Irons are among a host of clubs keen on signing the 18-year-old German attacking midfielder with Hertha expecting bids north of £8million. [Caught Offside, 14 June]
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
“Looks like the major injury was his meniscus but based on the timeline of six months, I imagine it was a repair which bodes well for his future.
“These aren’t uncommon but the key is to limit their knock on effects.
“If he does join West Ham that’s something the physios will have to keep tabs on.
“He will also have to adapt to life in the Premier League.“
The Hammers must look to secure Ibrahim Maza transfer
Maza is a promising young talent who could bring versatility and dynamism to the Hammers’ attack.
His ability to play across the front line adds depth to the squad, while his pace and technical skills can unlock stubborn defences.

His youth and potential for development align with the club’s long-term strategy, and his performances in Germany and age suggest he can adapt to the Premier League.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have made a significant transfer swoop as a bid has been submitted for a Euro 2024 star which is the highest one received by the club.
