West Ham United could agree new £15m shirt sponsor deal – Keith Wyness

West Ham United could agree a new shirt sponsorship deal of up to £15million, but much will depend on their Premier League status.

Keith Wyness believes relegation to the Championship could cut that figure by more than half, with the Irons one point behind Spurs in 17th.

Boyle Sports currently occupies West Ham’s front-of-shirt sponsor, but with the gambling sponsor ban coming into effect next season in the Premier League, change is expected.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand are said to be in discussions with West Ham, and have recently travelled to the London Stadium ahead of a possible new sponsorship agreement.

West Ham could secure multi-million increase with new agreement

Wyness admitted all will depend on whether West Ham are in the Premier League or the Championship next season when it comes to new agreements.

Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, the ex-Aston Villa and Everton chief executive revealed what figures the Irons could be looking at.

“Well, West Ham will always have a big catchment and, when I took over Villa, as we’ve talked about, obviously another Claret and Blue team and that were in the Championship, the crowds remained and the fan base is remarkably loyal and consistent,” Wyness said.

“A lot will depend on how the club handles that, if it happens, and if they can keep themselves looking to bounce back up. I don’t think there’ll be significant situations in terms of the numbers.

“The difference will be in the media coverage and obviously the Championship versus the Premier League in terms of global coverage for a sponsor if they go down.

“That’s a key thing. So there will be a big difference.

“Now, the sort of valuations I think we’re going to be looking at, I think there could be something as low as five or six if they’re in the Championship, and up to about £15m if they’re in the Premier League right now.

“But will all be, you know, any contract that will be done will take that into account.”

Are West Ham favourites to be relegated?

Right now, many would say yes.

But, West Ham have cut the gap considerably in 2026 under Nuno Espirito Santo, and with Tottenham in freefall, it may be their London rivals in the most trouble.

With Wolves at home next, three points there are desperately needed, with some tough fixtures to follow in the six games after that.

Leeds and Nottingham Forest both have Burnley to play at home, with the Yorkshire side having the so-called best run on paper.

Either way, it’s not just on the pitch where relegation harms you, it’s off it too, and the difference between these possible sponsorship revenues only proves that further.
