West Ham United chances of deal to sign Thiago Silva rated amid Chelsea exit news
Dan Bardell has dismissed any rumours that have suggested Thiago Silva could potentially join West Ham United after leaving Chelsea.
The Brazilian announced this week that he is leaving Stamford Bridge once his contract ends in the summer.
A report from TNT Sports Brazil, via X, has suggested that Silva could stay in the Premier League, with three London teams said to be interested.
This has sparked conversations about a London Stadium move, despite this, Bardell believes his loyalty will see him leave England entirely.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Bardell said: “I would imagine that Thiago Silva would go back to Brazil at this stage of his career. He’s done well to be playing for Chelsea and play there for so long.
“He’s been a tremendous servant to Chelsea and their fans absolutely adore him.
“I can’t see him staying in the Premier League, he probably wouldn’t want to play against Chelsea such is his attachment and love for the club.”

Although there have been no concrete links to the Hammers, it feels likely that if three London teams in the Premier League want him, they will probably be one.
The Brazilian is a legend and has achieved a lot across a long career which still sees him playing at the top level at 39 years old.
He has won almost there all is to win. The Champions League, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the FIFA Club World Cup.
If he was to sign for West Ham, he would bring unrivalled experience to the squad which could be invaluable.
According to FotMob, he has featured 27 times for Chelsea in what will have been a frustrating year for the defender.
Nayef Aguerd has been heavily linked with a move away from the club and if he was to leave, a void will need filling with another defender.
It is unclear as to whether or not he will remain in the Premier League but Silva could be a useful signing for the squad at the London Stadium.
