West Ham told to greenlight £30m swoop for Potter target Aaron Ramsdale
West Ham could look to sign Aaron Ramsdale as Graham Potter takes charge of his first summer at the London Stadium.
The English head coach has had a mixed spell since taking over from Julen Lopetegui earlier in the season, but will be keen to put his stamp on the squad in the upcoming window.
This has seen many names linked with a switch to East London despite six games remaining in the Premier League campaign.
With that being said, Ramsdale is one player being eyed by Potter and could be targeted as the window opens up.

Potter wants Ramsdale at West Ham
There has been no shortage of goalkeeping worries in E20 throughout the season as the number one has been chopped and changed multiple times.
At one point, 39-year-old Lukasz Fabianski had seemingly taken the gloves as he made 13 starts throughout the year.
Now Alphonse Areola looks to have made the keeper spot his own, but hasn’t necessarily excelled after his frustrating mistake in the draw against Bournemouth.
That could spark the Hammers into life in the summer as a new keeper could be targeted by Potter to take up the number one mantle.
Former Irons midfielder Martin Allen believes Ramsdale could prove to be an ideal option after Southampton were relegated from the Premier League.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “I think it would be a good move. I think Ramsdale would be looking to stay in the Premier League next season.
“Can West Ham afford him? I would hope that they could.
“It would be another English player coming into the fold, there’s a good link there within the squad. He’s good at playing from the back, which is something that coaches will be looking for, to be able to start attacks confidently.
“I would imagine that Graham Potter would be looking at him as a target to bring in to West Ham.
“I think £30m would be around the right number, that will be the sort of fee Southampton will be looking for.“

Ramsdale could transform West Ham
It has been a confusing few years for Ramsdale, who has gone from Arsenal number one in a title race to relegated without a whimper at Southampton.
There is no doubt that he is better than the level he finds himself at, and as a result, a move to a Hammers side, hopeful of improvement, could make total sense.
Stat (Premier League 24/25) | Aaron Ramsdale |
Saves | 105 |
Penalty saves | 2 |
High claims | 20 |
Accurate long balls | 185 |
With the likes of Jean-Clair Todibo and Max Kilman in front of him, there is every chance that the Englishman could thrive in between the sticks.
The 26-year-old could also change the fortunes of the East London club in place of Areola, who is known for having a mistake in him.
