West Ham ‘ready to sanction £25m Nayef Aguerd exit’ – Exclusive
West Ham could be set to demand a hefty price tag for Nayef Aguerd this summer.
The Morocco international was a sizable signing for the Hammers, but it is fair to say that he never truly got up and running in East London.
As a result, it made sense for the 29-year-old to depart on loan for the season as LaLiga outfit Real Sociedad came knocking.
With the summer window now looming, the centre-back could be set to link up with Graham Potter, with a permanent sale potentially on the cards.

West Ham to set Aguerd price tag
It does feel as if the Irons have allowed arguably their best defender to leave this season, given the struggles that have been had in the backline.
This has seen the likes of Konstantinos Mavropanos and Jean-Clair Todibo bring in mixed reviews among supporters in E20.
As a result, many were looking to welcome Aguerd back, but after his recent antics, an outbound transfer looks increasingly more likely.

The centre half has reportedly informed the hierarchy at Rush Green that he wants a move away from the London Stadium this summer.
As a result, former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes the Irons could demand £25m for the sale of the Moroccan.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “He’s still a West Ham player, whether Potter wants to bring him back is his decision.
“From the player’s comments, it looks like he doesn’t want to be here, so the club will be looking at him to generate £20-25m to then bring in a new defender to play in his position.
“If a player doesn’t want to play for your football club, you have to move them on and maximise the deal that is out there to get the most money for him possible.“

Aguerd sale to fund replacement at West Ham
There is bound to be a number of defensive options suggested when the window eventually opens after the clash against Ipswich Town on Sunday (24 May).
This has already seen Burnley ace CJ Egan-Riley emerge as a free transfer target despite high levels of interest in his signature.
If that move doesn’t come off, there is every chance that Aguerd is moved on to help bring in funds to help bring in another centre-back option.
This will likely be done to help find partnership options for Max Kilman, who has arguably been the best central defender in E20 this season.
