West Ham ready for more transfers after Diouf in new PSR update – Exclusive
West Ham are an unpredictable entity heading into the new season, while Graham Potter will be under pressure to deliver results.
The most significant business at the Premier League side has been selling Mohammed Kudus to London rivals Tottenham.
As for arrivals, the Hammers are beginning to show more intent, with El Hadji Malick Diouf through the London Stadium doors.
However, supporters will be banking on more signings if the Hammers are to improve on last season’s dire showing.

West Ham can follow up Diouf signing after Kudus sale
Jack Grealish and Harvey Elliott have been linked with West Ham moves and would represent statement signings.
Elsewhere, Potter almost has Kyle Walker-Peters within his ranks after the right back agreed to a three-year deal, ahead of a free transfer.
Now, football finance expert Dan Plumley – speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone – has weighed in on their transfer business.
“Yes, it can,” he said when asked if the deals for Diouf and Kudus can kick their window into action.

“We’ve talked about a lot of these clubs, and West Ham are one of those that are in that mix.
“They’re not overly concerned PSR-wise, the numbers themselves in the accounts look pretty okay for a Premier League club.
“I know that they’ve got aspirations to be much higher in the table, but they’re fine financially, and there are certainly no immediate PSR concerns.
“That said, these clubs can’t just go and open the chequebook. They are still under budgetary constraints, and they’ll map that out accordingly.
“You tend to find that often it almost has to be a player leaving to trigger the incomings, and obviously with Kudus going, that’s one of their biggest players, and the fee is very good, albeit you’ve lost a very good player.
“That money can then be reinvested, and it’s always likely that when you lose players, you’ll have to sign players to plug that gap.
“If you’re selling one player for £60million, you might get two or three in for the equivalent value, and if that’s the case then then you might look at that as good business, but it certainly would stand to reason that you’ve got to wait sometimes for outgoings to be able to bring people in.”

Diouf signs, but what else does Potter need?
While the signing of Diouf is encouraging, Potter needs more to distance the Irons from relegation.
A new goalkeeper must be a priority given the current options, and Mads Hermansen is reportedly on the Hammers’ list.
Elsewhere, some real pace on the wings would make West Ham more of an attacking threat next season.
