West Ham: Pundit savages Tomas Soucek, James Ward-Prowse in David Moyes rant
Most of the West Ham players had terrible games against Arsenal in the 6-0 drubbing, according to Frank McAvennie.
The likes of James Ward-Prowse, Tomas Soucek and Alphonse Areola have been slammed for what they did.
However, Moyes’ tactics have also been called into question as he’s in real sack danger at the London Stadium.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, McAvennie, the former Hammers striker said:
“It might be his height. I don’t get with Soucek, he’s one of the tallest guys but he’s [Moyes] playing him at the front post. Go and mark someone and challenge him.
“Anywhere in the six yard line and that’s the keeper’s ball for me. I don’t get it, just punch it. He’s [Areola] got to do better.
“Ward-Prowse never got near anyone, Soucek never got near anyone. It was one of those games where everyone was terrible.”
Is Moyes going to be sacked at West Ham United?
This ultimately is a results business and no matter what’s being said about the style of football, as long as the results were there, his job was safe.
He even had credit in the bank after winning the Europa Conference League but that only goes so far.

The fact that there are other managers being looked at and not everything smooth behind the scenes could mean that his days at the club might be numbered.
In other West Ham news, a manager with a 69 per cent Europa League win record is eyed to replace David Moyes at the London Stadium.
