West Ham injury news: Crysencio Summerville update emerges
West Ham attacker Crysencio Summerville is taking longer than expected to make his return from injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that his return to training will depend on how he progresses behind the scenes in his rehab.
The 23-year-old has now been ruled out for three months with his last appearance coming in the 2-1 loss against Aston Villa in January.

Summerville not expected back to full fitness this season
It has been a tough season for the Dutch winger, who’s been in and out of the starting eleven and also battled fitness issues.
Having moved from Leeds United in the summer, there was plenty of excitement as the Hammers had secured the services of an exciting young winger.
However, they’ve not yet seen the best of him, and by the looks of it, he’s not expected to be back to full fitness before the end of the season.

Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Dr Rajpal Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said: “This sounds like it was originally a Grade 2 or so but difficult to say how severe the setback is.
“His return to first team training will depend on how he continues to progress but it sounds like it’s been a delayed recovery overall.
“I don’t see him back before May and he’s not expected to be at full fitness before the end of the season.“

Graham Potter will look to make Summerville effective for West Ham next season
It has been a topsy-turvy campaign for the Hammers, which saw them sack Julen Lopetegui and bring in Graham Potter.
Potter’s methods have not yet fully taken shape and fans will get a better look at them next season.
He will also look to get the best out of Summerville as he’s barely had time to work with him and see how he can perform once given a regular run of starts.
