West Ham extra steps laid out to seal Raheem Sterling transfer
West Ham are reportedly keen on securing the services of Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling in this transfer window.
Sterling was on loan at Arsenal last season, but he endured a tough time in North London.
In 17 Premier League appearances, the 30-year-old failed to find the back of the net and could only provide two assists.

This story includes exclusive opinion from injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar, who is a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist.
West Ham will look for wear and tear due to Sterling’s workload
Graham Potter wants a reunion with Sterling at West Ham this summer.
TalkSPORT reported on 5 August that Chelsea are open to a loan move.
Ahead of a potential deal, the Hammers will have to consider the number of matches he’s played over the years and look for any wear and tear, according to Dr Brar.
The 30-year-old also missed four Premier League games last season due to a knee injury.

Dr Brar exclusively told West Ham Zone: “Considering the number of matches he’s played and the intensity of the league and tournaments he’s been a part of, the club will generally look for any outlier wear and tear that exceeds their expectations and/or risk tolerance.
“He had knee issues last season and his game time was far from ideal either.
“These certainly are factors that work against him ahead of a potential move.”

Potter can get the best out of Sterling
Sterling will undoubtedly add a different dynamic to the Hammers’ attack, and interest in him is justified.
While he has struggled in recent seasons at Chelsea and Arsenal, he could thrive with the shackles off at West Ham.
It would be a less toxic environment for him, akin to Marcus Rashford’s impact at Aston Villa, after leaving Manchester United.
Potter is known to bring the best out of attacking players and can help the England international get his game back on the right track.
