West Ham could sign ‘Summerville 2.0’ as new attacker transfer ready
Crysencio Summerville has not hit the heights that were expected of him at West Ham.
The Hammers signed the Dutch winger from Leeds United last summer, but he notched just one goal and one assist in 19 Premier League matches after a serious injury.
Graham Potter needs significant attacking reinforcements, but the Irons must be wary of repeating their mistakes from the past at the London Stadium.

West Ham urged to avoid Hutchinson signing
West Ham are one of several sides to be linked with Omari Hutchinson in a £25million deal, after Ipswich were relegated from the top flight.
The 21-year-old impressed as England won the UEFA U21 European Championships, but his record in the league last season was dismal, with just three goals and two assists.
Iconic commentator Ian Darke is not convinced that he would make a difference for the London Stadium outfit.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, he said: “They got the lad from Leeds in last season, Summerville, who did not quite do it.
“I think Omari Hutchinson is a more dangerous player than those figures suggest, remember, he was playing in an Ipswich team that was under the cosh quite a lot of the time.
“I wonder how he might look in a better team. I think he is a good young player who is probably good enough to be playing in the Premier League.
“He does come with that relegation and question mark hanging over him, he has had a season in the top-flight, and he has not come up with the numbers.
“If his numbers were better than the ones you just quoted, his value would be that bit higher.”

Hutchinson would be a gamble for West Ham
There is no guarantee that Hutchinson could improve those numbers if he made the move to East London.
The last thing that the Hammers need is another forward who struggles to contribute, as they already have the likes of Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug and Mohammed Kudus, who all had underwhelming campaigns last time out.
They need to secure a reliable goalscorer in the transfer window to take the burden off Jarrod Bowen’s shoulders.
