‘West Ham bias’ emerges amid Douglas Luiz transfer latest – Exclusive
West Ham could have a trump card in the race for Douglas Luiz.
Graham Potter‘s side are in desperate need of an upgrade in the engine room, and the Juventus midfielder fits the bill.
He featured just 19 times in Serie A last season and is reportedly looking to move back to the Premier League.
A move to the London Stadium could suit both parties.

West Ham have advantage in race for Luiz
West Ham have been heavily linked with Luiz, but the former Aston Villa man is also attracting interest from Everton and Manchester United.
Iconic commentator Ian Darke believes that the Hammers could beat their rivals to his signature, due to one particular reason.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, he said: “Well, I think the thing in their favour is London, because particularly foreign players seemingly have a bias towards playing in the capital.
“Douglas Luis has played in Manchester, he has been in Birmingham, and he knows English football pretty well.
“I would have thought that he is probably going to go where he is offered the best deal and the kind of overtures he gets from the manager about what his role may be at those clubs.
“Where he feels they might have the best season, of all three, I think West Ham would be a slightly harder sell for a player after the year they had last season.”

Luiz would be perfect for West Ham
The Hammers are crying out for an enforcer-type player in the middle of the park, as Guido Rodriguez and Edson Alvarez look like they are on the way out.
The 27-year-old has not been at his best in Italy, but a move back to English football could bring out the best in him once again.
It would give Potter’s side a tenacity and steel that they have been lacking if they could seal a deal for the Brazilian ahead of their rivals for his services.
David Sullivan is trying to back the former Brighton manager this summer, and bringing the ex-Villa man to East London would be a brilliant move.
