Sullivan to take action as ‘West Ham fans in uproar over Rush Green rumours’
Martin Allen believes David Sullivan will be questioning the work of Tim Steidten at West Ham.
The technical director has come under fire this campaign after a hefty summer spend which hasn’t paid off and ended in Julen Lopetegui facing the sack.
The German could now be set to leave his role at the London Stadium [David Ornstein] with Kyle Macaulay linked with an arrival in East London.
Former Hammers midfielder Allen can see Irons chairman Sullivan asking questions about the role and responsibilities of Steidten.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “He hasn’t just been under pressure for a week, it’s been an ongoing issue with West Ham fans.
“The fans aren’t very happy after hearing rumours that David Moyes and Lopetegui both banned him from the training ground.
“The recruitment hasn’t been good and a lot of money has been spent, Sullivan will be questioning the role and responsibilities of who bought those players in.
“That person is Steidten and he is going to come under fire and face speculation about his future.“
David Sullivan to question Tim Steidten role at West Ham
The German is under huge pressure in East London which could culminate in him facing the sack.
The large fees forked out for Niclas Fullkrug, Crysencio Summerville and Max Kilman haven’t improved the Hammers and they currently sit 14th in the Premier League.
After sacking David Moyes and bringing in a raft of new players, things haven’t improved and a large portion of the blame has to be placed at Steidten’s door.

As a result, it would be totally fair for Sullivan to demand answers from the technical director about what went wrong before potentially pulling the sack trigger.
