Slaven Bilic deal will be costly for West Ham, short-term deal touted
Slaven Bilic has emerged as a managerial target for West Ham.
Bilic was previously in charge of West Ham between 2015 and 2017, playing a key role in a number of iconic moments before the London Stadium move.
Now, it appears that there is a perfect chance for Bilic to return to West Ham as Graham Potter continues to come under pressure.
Potter is edging closer towards the sack at West Ham after yet another home defeat in E20, this time at the hands of Crystal Palace.
This could eventually see Bilic come in, with a short-term deal potentially in the pipeline in East London before the season gets away from the Hammers.

This story includes exclusive comment from former manager Martin Allen.
Slaven Bilic could join West Ham on short-term deal
West Ham could soon sack Potter and hire Bilic in a quick-fire shakeup in the dugout for the claret and blue outfit after a dreadful start to the campaign.
In fairness, frustration has surrounded the English head coach throughout his reign in East London after many months of poor showings.

As a result, it would make sense to replace him with someone like the former Hammers boss, with the hope of reigniting some spirit in the squad and supporters.
Former Irons midfielder Allen believes that any deal to bring back Bilic will come at a high price should the Croatian come back for the rest of the season.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “Bilic looks like he could come in with the hope of stabilising things.
“If it were a short-term deal, it would mean that there would be no compensation to be paid if he is to be sacked.
“It could work out well for all parties.
“He will have to get points on the board, and can he?
“If he does, he deserves to be well paid, and if he doesn’t, he won’t pick up any sort of bonuses that winning matches will bring.“

Slaven Bilic could transform West Ham
It may be seen as yet another step back for the Hammers for some, but there is no getting away from the positive atmosphere surrounding Bilic in E20.
Supporters got behind the Croatian massively in his last spell in charge, and there is no doubt that they would do so again.
It could be that the change in atmosphere in itself could transform West Ham’s fortunes after such a torrid start to the season.
Going back to basics with a positive atmosphere around the London Stadium, with Bilic at the helm, could be positive moving deeper into the campaign.
