‘Potter wants Paquetá sale at West Ham’ as Elliott claim shared – Exclusive
West Ham could line up a deal for Harvey Elliott to replace Lucas Paquetá.
The Hammers are facing widespread uncertainty surrounding the Brazil international as his spot-probe investigation continues to drag on.
A verdict is yet to be heard at the London Stadium after the 27-year-old’s trial, but a summer exit could be sanctioned regardless of the result.
This could free up space in Graham Potter’s squad to bring in Elliott from Liverpool.

Paquetá sale to green light Elliott signing at West Ham
It is difficult to ignore the fact that Paquetá’s uncertainty is causing financial problems for West Ham.
Being unsure about how much is available to spend is seemingly causing delays in the boardroom in East London, moving deeper into the window.
As a result, West Ham could look to sanction Paquetá’s departure in the coming weeks to help continue a rebuild ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
This could allow the Hammers to complete a swoop for Liverpool’s Elliott, as former Brentford boss Martin Allen shared his excitement over these potential dealings.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “We don’t truly know what the situation is with Paquetá.
“The case that’s against him hasn’t been finalised, so until that’s been done, there are question marks over what West Ham can spend.
“Paquetá is worth a lot of money, and I’m not sure Potter would want to keep him moving into the new season. Selling him and signing Elliott seems about right to me.
“Paquetá didn’t have a good season, but you can understand how everything going on has affected his performance. It might just be the right time to sell him and move him on and bring in Elliott. I think that would be a good move for West Ham.”

Paquetá sale to benefit all parties
It does feel as if the Brazilian has reached the end of the road in E20, and a departure could represent a boost for everyone involved.
If a landing destination can be found for the ex-Lyon man and a positive fee can be brought in, it is fair to say that Elliott would be a suitable replacement.

Alongside the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville at the London Stadium, the Englishman could prove to be excellent next campaign.
