Mohammed Kudus funny moment emerges after what West Ham United star did
Frank McAvennie loved watching Mohammed Kudus break out his iconic celebration as West Ham claimed a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday (5 October).
Following early goals from Michail Antonio and Liam Delap, the 24-year-old headed home from close range to re-establish the Hammers’ lead at the London Stadium just before half-time.
Kudus’ celebration usually involves taking a seat on the advertising boards, with his back to the crowd, but after an incident involving a stubborn ballboy, he had his stall to hand for a new interpretation of the celebration.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, McAvennie said: “Kudus brought a stall with him for when he scored.
“Did you see that? He went and sat on it as his celebration, which I thought was pretty funny.”
Mohammed Kudus lifts spirits with West Ham United celebration
The Hammers have experienced a tough start to the new campaign, with Julen Lopetegui facing plenty of unanswered questions, but fans will still be watching the highlights of the most recent win.
They will also be hoping to see Kudus break out this celebration on a few more occasions this season, having only notched one goal in his opening seven Premier League starts so far.
With the Irons back to winning ways, now sitting twelfth in the league table, Lopetegui’s side now have a string of difficult matches, including clash against Tottenham and Manchester United.
Kudus’ form could be a huge factor against these two Premier League giants, so another goal from the Ghanaian could help lift spirits even further at the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, “Stooges” at the London Stadium have been blasted after the Premier League’s legal news, “baffled beyond belief”.
