Frank McAvennie thinks Thomas Tuchel is ‘flapping’ ahead of West Ham game
We’re delighted to welcome former West Ham United striker Frank McAvennie as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the London Stadium…
West Ham travel to Stamford Bridge tomorrow to take on Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea and Frank McAvennie thinks the blues boss is already on the ropes.
The Hammers’ London rivals are looking to keep an unwanted record far away from them having lost their previous three home games against Brentford, Real Madrid and Arsenal.
A fourth successive defeat would be unprecedented and that is exactly what David Moyes will be hoping to inflict tomorrow.

Ex-Irons striker McAvennie reckons that the Blues’ boss is unsettled at the helm of Chelsea and the visit of his former side to their neck of the woods could compound their misery.
“I’ve seen Tuchel flapping a little bit and I haven’t seen that in him before,” McAvennie said exclusively to West Ham Zone.
“I know West Ham are playing on the Thursday after but as a player you have to want to play that game.
“Hopefully West Ham can take some confidence from this run Chelsea are on at home.”

Moyes has his own issues to contend with as Issa Diop’s latest injury leaves just Craig Dawson as his only fit centre-half and who he decides to play alongside the in-form Englishman.
Declan Rice is an option but with his strong showings in midfield, could the manager be tempted to throw a youngster like Aji Alese into the spotlight?
It will be a tough afternoon for whoever slots into the back four, if he stays with it, as the Blues have started to find form on their travels and will be keen to carry that into their home games too.
In other West Ham news, McAvennie has also had his say on the defensive nightmare on Moyes’ doorstep.
