Finance Expert: Prime sponsorship could now be on cards at West Ham United
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive West Ham United columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the London Stadium...
Dan Plumley has insisted that West Ham United may be set to test the waters with Prime ahead of a new potential sponsorship deal further down the line.
The Finance Expert admitted that both parties could be looking to generate exposure after YouTube star, KSI, admitted that the sports drink is likely to go on sale at the London Stadium.
Prime currently have a partnership with Premier League side Arsenal, and could be looking to expand should they be able to afford to sign off on another deal.

“It seems that way, doesn’t it?,” he exclusively told West Ham Zone.
“You’re looking at these things to generate exposure, the product is generating the buzz with the younger generation at the minute, so joining those things up and leveraging that to see what it becomes.
“If it works, there is good exposure and the energy drink company itself continues to grow and can afford it, you may be looking at sponsorship deals further down the line.
“That’s what this seems to be to me, exposure first and foremost, let’s see what it’s like and see if we can do a deal on that.”

Most exposure is good exposure, especially for GSBK.
With much talk of betting sponsorships being banned, the deal with BetWay could soon come to an end and then sponsorship will likely go to the highest bidder.
All eyes will be on West Ham United very soon it seems, this would be a good first step.
