Ernest Muci update emerges as West Ham United eye £11.9m transfer
West Ham will look to speak to people close to Besiktas midfielder Ernest Muci before signing him, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that his fitness record from last season is a good indicator but the Hammers will want to ensure that the Albanian international would adapt to life in the Premier League.
This comes after Takvim reported on 16 August that the Hammers are keen on signing the 23-year-old and will have to shell out £11.9million for him.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
“Injury history will be a key part of assessing whether or not he’ll be a good fit in the Premier League but also speaking to people around him who know his habits on and off the pitch, training and medical staff who worked with him, along with fitness testing to ascertain his metrics.
“He had a perfect injury record last season so that certainly bodes well.
“He’ll still need a few months to full adapt to life in England.“
Ernest Muci would add something unique to the West Ham side
Muci’s versatility as an attacking midfielder adds depth and creativity, crucial for breaking down defences and he’d be an important acquisition.

The Albania international’s impressive tally of 13 goals last season indicates his scoring ability, which can enhance the Hammers’ attack.
His youth suggests potential for growth, aligning with the club’s strategy of developing talent and showcasing that he’s not just one for the present but also for the future.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have made another transfer bid which is close to the player’s valuation as another London Stadium move is on the cards.
