Doctor: West Ham United ace Jarrod Bowen may require surgery after what happened recently
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at West Ham...
West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen may even require surgery after pulling out of the international squad, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he will be undergoing scans on his knee and that will determine the seriousness of his setback.
The 26-year-old has the tendency to play through the pain barrier and that may lead to aggravation of the injury.

Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said:
“Something is irritating Bowen’s knee and he will undergo further scans and testing to determine the issue.
“He’s not one to get injured and has a reputation for not complaining so when he does, it does bring some concern.
“Worst case scenario would be surgery but hard to give any possible diagnoses without more info.”

Bowen has been in incredible form for the Hammers this season as he’s bagged eight goals and provided an assist in 12 Premier League games.
Due to the club not signing a striker over the summer, the England international has even played down the middle for David Moyes’ side.
He will be a big miss for the club as he’s scored in his last three Premier League games and may not be available at the weekend.
In other West Ham news, a BBC pundit has admitted that he’ll come out of retirement just to play with a West Ham star after what he did recently.
