Brian Brobbey ‘to pass medical’ in major West Ham United development
Ajax striker Brian Brobbey would pass his West Ham medical despite a couple of injuries this season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that his game time this season is not something that should cause any worry and he’ll undoubtedly need time to adapt to the Premier League.
The Hammers have understood to have gone to great lengths as they look to complete the loan signing of the Netherlands international with him already in London as things appear to be close. [Telegraaf, 24 January]
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said: “Nothing minutes wise would worry me that much.
“Like other players coming to the UK with a different style of play and different weather, he needs an adaptation runway physically and mentally to get situated on and off the pitch.
“He should also not have issues passing his medical despite two minor injuries this season.”
West Ham identify Brian Brobbey as their priority in this transfer window
With Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug ruled out with injuries, it is imperative for the Hammers to sign a new striker in the transfer window.
They appear to have identified the Ajax talisman as the man to address their attacking woes.

Graham Potter has done well in getting the best out of young attackers and fans will be hoping he does the same with Brobbey.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have made contact to sign an international striker who’s scored 15 goals in 18 games this season.
