West Ham United must sign Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko amid Manchester City fire sale
West Ham United need to start getting new faces through the door at Rush Green and they could make a double swoop of the Premier League champions.
Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have both been linked with a move to the London Stadium this summer [CBS journalist Ben Jacobs and The Mirror, respectively] but it could come at quite a cost for the Hammers.
But according to The Telegraph on 14 June, the Citizens are planning something of a fire sale at the Etihad Stadium to help generate funds for their own summer spending spree.

Pep Guardiola is keen to sign Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella and Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips but he needs players to be sold first having already spent big money on Norwegian striker Erling Haaland.
This could open the door for Moyes and West Ham to offer a cute little package deal for both Jesus and Zinchenko and sign the pair for cheaper than they would have done in separate deals.
Both players are fringe at best in the star-studded Manchester City side and a move to the London Stadium would allow them to remain in the Premier League but this time play every week in a team that is still challenging for Europe.

And with City desperate to sell in order to generate roughly £200million worth of sales to balance the books of what could be a very busy summer, they might just accept a lower fee than normal.
The Brazilian would immediately make it into our starting Xi either from wide or through the middle and Zinchenko may have to battle Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek but he too would quickly cement himself in the side.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have enquired about a 24-year-old Bundesliga defender who could be available for a very cheap price.
