West Ham ‘face no-brainer decision’ as forward likened to Kylian Mbappe linked

West Ham have been linked with a swoop for Junior Kroupi and it’s a deal that makes far too much sense for the Irons to ignore.

With the transfer deadline rapidly approaching, time is running out for the Irons to secure attacking reinforcements in a bid to bolster their squad.

The Hammers are said to have tabled a £30million bid for Kroupi [Daily Mail] and if they can conclude a deal, it will be a huge signing and one that will undoubtedly provide them with a forward capable of taking them to the next level.

Kroupi has been likened to Kylian Mbappe for his playstyle [OneFootball] and should the Irons get a player with even half of his ability, what a coup it would be.

Junior Kroupi would be a huge signing for West Ham

Although Kroupi may not be a name that resonates with many English-supporting football fans, it is certainly one that you may need to get accustomed to given the bags of potential he has.

At just 18 years old, the French starlet has 11 goal contributions in 17 appearances for Lorient this season as well as a more than respectable record at youth level for France.

His pace and trickery are perhaps his two biggest assets and his ability to play across various attacking roles makes this transfer a no-brainer for West Ham.

Of course, given his current ability and rising potential, the Irons will face stern competition in the race to win his signature [Sky Sports] and like always, they can’t afford to hedge their bets on him joining when pursuing other targets.

If West Ham can pull this deal off, it would be a huge statement of intent and certainly an exciting one but with time ticking away, it must be done quickly.

In other West Ham news, this youth player rejected a contract to stay at the London Stadium and is now a free agent.
