Tim Steidten fails yet again at West Ham United as Endrick transfer update drops
West Ham technical director Tim Steidten has come under increasing pressure as Julen Lopetegui’s team continue to struggle on the pitch.
The majority of fans and pundits were quite excited by the number of big-name signings arriving at the London Stadium during the summer, such as Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Crysencio Summerville and Jean-Clair Todibo.
However, David Sullivan’s investment during the last transfer window has failed to pay off for the new head coach, with the Hammers floundering in fourteenth place after 11 Premier League matches.
One of the biggest signings, other than those named already, was Niclas Fullkrug who was signed from Borussia Dortmund on a £27million deal but has only played four times since due to injury [BBC Sport].
Now, with the emergence of a new transfer story dating back to the summer, fans will be hounding the technical director even more after missing out on a big-name, exciting forward.
West Ham United missed out on Real Madrid gem Endrick
According to TBR Football, the Hammers were one of the many teams interested in Real Madrid’s 18-year-old star Endrick, who had only just arrived from Palmeiras on a £58million deal [FIFA].
Given the lack of decent striker options currently at Lopetegui’s disposal and the youngster’s lack of game time in Spain, the East London look to have missed out on a trick during the summer.
Endrick actually has more caps for the Brazil national team than he does appearances for Real Madrid, only playing 10 times for the La Liga giants so far.
Fans from all over the world are already familiar with how talented the 18-year-old striker is, even scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory against Brazil at Wembley Stadium, and could have solved the ongoing striker issues.

Of course, it would have been a gamble to put so much pressure on the youngster, but given his exploits on the international stage, he likely would have enjoyed a loan spell at the London Stadium.
Steidten could have also used Lopetegui’s former Madrid links to the club’s advantage, but now, it seems no team will be able to acquire Endrick’s services, even on loan.
In other West Ham news, Alan Brazil and Gabby Agbonlahor were baffled as Brendan Rodgers was mooted to replace Julen Lopetegui.
