Guilherme surely wants West Ham January move after what happened again v Arsenal
Luis Guilherme will surely want to leave West Ham in January after being an unused substitute again in the Arsenal defeat.
The Hammers suffered a frustrating 5-2 defeat on Saturday (30 November) as Julen Lopetegui was brought back down to earth after the Newcastle win.
The Gunners were ruthless and made their chances count while the home side arguably could have done more going forward, especially when Gabriel went off injured at half time.
This could have pointed towards a chance for Guilherme to make an impact but once again, the Brazilian remained on the bench for the duration.
Luis Guilherme may want West Ham exit after Arsenal defeat
The 18-year-old made the move to East London during the summer as Tim Steidten completed a £25.5million deal with Palmerias [BBC Sport].
This is a large outlay for anyone at the London Stadium, never mind a youngster who is yet to be given a true first-team chance.
In the Premier League, the forward has featured across just 11 minutes despite the generally frustrating form of the Irons this season.
Guilherme was an unused substitute against Newcastle and suffered the same fate in the Arsenal defeat.
At some point, the youngster is going to grow impatient with the lack of opportunity and could force a move away when the January window opens.
Against the Gunners, Lopetegui opted to make three midfield changes, one defensive swap while bringing Danny Ings on for Michail Antonio.

These didn’t help change the tide as Mikel Arteta’s side ran away with the result but the young winger could have given the Hammers something to hold on to.
This wasn’t the case in yet another weekend without minutes for the Brazilian which could point towards cutting his London Stadium stay short in the winter.
