David Sullivan put to shame at West Ham amid news from Premier League rivals
David Sullivan has questions to answer at West Ham United after Premier League rivals Leicester City made the decision to sack Steve Cooper.
After a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea over the weekend, the Foxes made the decision to sack their manager as they currently sit 16th in the league and only one point clear of the relegation zone.
However, this has highlighted a stark contrast between the Leicester owners and David Sullivan at West Ham, as he seemingly continues to ponder over the future of Julen Lopetegui despite being only two points ahead of their rivals.
How long will Sullivan take over Lopetegui decision?
Despite losing against a strong Chelsea side, the board at the King Power Stadium felt as though Leicester’s continually poor form could not continue, hence their decision to sack Cooper.
However, their decisiveness over this decision has highlighted a real lack of urgency from the top man at the London Stadium as he lets the saga of Lopetegui’s future continue.
Questions surrounding the 58-year-old’s future have been circulating for some time and with poor performances and results characterising their season so far, it’s no surprise to see that many are calling for his departure.

With a game against Newcastle United on Monday night (25 November), there has surely got to be a lot riding on this for the Hammers boss if the result does not go their way.
However, pressure will surely be mounting on the shoulders of Sullivan, who will see how making decisions efficiently could be the difference in saving West Ham’s season.
