West Ham United PSR worry shared in £16.8m reveal – Kieran Maguire
West Ham are not at any immediate risk of a PSR breach, according to Kieran Maguire.
The football finance expert shared that the Hammers have spent £16.8million per point in the Premier League – making them the 10th best in that department.
However, despite the heavy summer outlay, the club remain in no danger of falling on the wrong side of the financial regulations.

West Ham are not in a good place on the field of play
While Maguire has claimed that the Hammers are financially sound, with no immediate risk of breaching the Premier League’s PSR, the same cannot be said for their on-pitch performances.
Despite a significant financial investment in the summer transfer window, their performances have been disappointing under Julen Lopetegui’s management.
The Spaniard has struggled to instil a winning mentality or tactical cohesion, leading to a series of lacklustre performances and results.
This has placed Lopetegui in a precarious position, with mounting pressure from fans and possibly the board, putting him at serious risk of being sacked if the team’s form doesn’t improve.
A majority of the fanbase has already turned on the manager and now questions are being asked about David Sullivan’s ability to successfully run the club.

David Moyes was a popular figure among the supporters and it’s clear that Lopetegui is failing to win them over.
In other West Ham news, sources claim the Hammers can now secure the services of a £40m player in January.
