West Ham United could get the chance to sign AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah this summer.

Currently on loan at fellow Serie A side Atalanta, the American is named as a potential player to leave San Siro over the summer.

Musah joined the Rossoneri in 2023, making the move from Valencia.

Though he struggled for consistent minutes at the seven-time European champions, prompting his loan switch to neighbours Atalanta last summer.

After making just 17 league appearances in Bergamo thus far, the 23-year-old is now of interest to West Ham, who will be looking to rebuild over the summer.

Atalanta opt out of Yunus Musah agreement – West Ham to pounce

After making the switch last summer, Musah has found it difficult to gain consistency at Atalanta.

As a result, La Dea’s intention is to opt out of the option to buy at the end of the season, with a figure set at €20million, as reported by Calciomercato.

In the report, it is outlined that Milan will be looking to move the American on over the summer, alongside multiple others returning from loan spells at the end of the season.

While Musah will want to return and impress boss Massimiliano Allegri, the European giants will be looking to strike a deal that seals his future elsewhere.

West Ham have bargaining power ahead of potential Musah deal

In the report, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are mentioned as a potential destination.

West Ham pursued a move for Musah last summer, before his eventual move to Atalanta.

Though looking ahead to the summer, it is claimed that his representatives may look to spark that connection once again, especially if the Hammers do go on and secure their Premier League future.

While they have turned a corner in 2026, it has been a dismal season for West Ham.

As a result, they will be looking to rebuild over the summer, hopefully after surviving the relegation dogfight.

And with Musah potentially wanting a move to England, the Hammers will be the ones in control, given their previous interest, and the fact that as of now, they are seemingly the only club vying for his signature.
