Jarrod Bowen and two other West Ham favourites who could say farewell this weekend
Jarrod Bowen’s time at West Ham United could be coming to an end this summer.
Heading into the weekend, the Hammers have everything to play for as they battle for Premier League survival.
However, their fate is not entirely in their own hands, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side relying on Everton to beat Tottenham, who are just two points clear in 17th.
With this disastrous season nearing its conclusion, preparations at the London Stadium will begin for a rebuild, regardless of which division the Irons find themselves in.
And with “special” captain Bowen potentially among those to leave should West Ham drop down a tier, West Ham Zone takes a look at two others who could follow suit.

Mateus Fernandes surely also nailed on for summer departure
Joining the club from Southampton last summer, Mateus Fernandes could be on for his second successive relegation.
Though, it cannot be said that the Portuguese midfielder has not delivered this season, after being Mr Consistent week in and week out, across multiple roles under Nuno.
| Mateus Fernandes | 2025-26 |
| Pass accuracy | 87.5% |
| Accurate long balls | 108 |
| Chances created | 35 |
| Duels won | 192 |
| Average match rating | 7.21/10 |
Across the campaign, the midfielder has rarely let West Ham down.
His goal contribution statistics remain somewhat skewed, with Fernandes having operated in a much deeper role in recent months.
Even so, he has often been the main source of quality in midfield, with his supreme technical ability and effectiveness from range proving integral under Nuno.
Put more simply, it will not be long before he is sadly moving on to bigger things.

The Hammers would love to keep hold of the midfielder next term if they stay up, though that may prove difficult.
Across spells at two clubs in relative turmoil, Fernandes has shown he is more than capable of thriving in the English top flight.
However, West Ham may regret not having the quality this term to convince him to stay for the long term.
Crysencio Summerville is in an awkward predicament
Joining the club from Leeds in 2024, like Fernandes, it would not be the first time Crysencio Summerville has suffered relegation.
In fact, his year in the Championship proved to be the making of the Dutchman, earning him a move to the London Stadium as a result.
However, Summerville has not exactly built up much Premier League credit, only really arriving at the party for the Hammers since the turn of the year.

Even so, he has been integral to the fight, and it beggars belief where Nuno’s side would be had Summerville not kickstarted West Ham’s turnaround back in January.
Potential suitors may not be at the level of the attention Fernandes will attract, but he will absolutely have interest this summer.
Summerville is another player West Ham will want to build around should they stay in the Premier League, and they stand a better chance of keeping hold of him than they do Fernandes.
But having left the Championship for the top flight once, Sunday could well be his final match in a Hammers shirt should the worst outcome come to pass.
