Chelsea are ready to pounce on West Ham United‘s possible relegation woes ahead of the summer, with reported interest in three current stars.

The Hammers secured a huge 4-0 win against Wolves on Friday, lifting them out of the relegation zone for the first time since last year.

Nuno Espirito Santo has done fantastically to turn things around since the start of 2026, after an initial difficult start to life at the London Stadium.

While the Irons are out of the bottom three for the time being, relegation does still remain a possibility, with a run of results needed from here to the season’s end.

Should Nuno’s side secure their spot in the Premier League, even then they will face a battle to keep many of their stars, with London rivals Chelsea reportedly sniffing around.

It has been a far-from-ideal season for Chelsea, with Champions League football currently looking unlikely for Liam Rosenior’s side.

Though ahead of the summer, a report from Simon Phillips via his substack suggests that Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes are of interest to the West London outfit.

Bowen in particular stands out as the biggest name out of those mentioned.

Joining the club in 2020, the wideman has developed into a real talismanic figure for the Hammers – now wearing the armband as they fight for survival.

Across 274 Irons appearances, the 29-year-old has scored 84 goals and laid on 60 assists, while his 2023 Conference League winning goal will live long in the memories of supporters.

Only one way West Ham can keep all of their stars

Alongside the continuous impact of Bowen, Dutch wideman Summerville has developed into an enigmatic talent under Nuno this term.

With pace to burn and the freedom to roam, the 24-year-old has been the driving force behind West Ham’s uptick in form in 2026.

Alongside this, midfielder Fernandes has proven a fantastic signing from Southampton, with nine goal contributions. Though to keep the trio, the Hammers will simply have to avoid relegation.

Across previous spells in England, boss Nuno has become adored at both Wolves and Nottingham Forest after taking the respective clubs to Europe.

Coincidentally, his exploits with the Garibaldi came in similar circumstances to those of West Ham, with Nuno steering Forest to safety, before a seventh-place finish.

Should he keep the Irons in the division, he will get the chance to keep hold of his star men and begin building, though his side need to keep up the pace before the season’s end, with a two point gap to Tottenham currently in place.
