Jean-Clair Todibo has and always will be a West Ham failure as bust-up with Nuno explained

Jean-Clair Todibo had no right to down his tools after it was revealed, following West Ham United‘s relegation this Sunday, that the centre-back told Nuno Espirito Santo he would never play for him again.

The Hammers beat Leeds United 3-0 at the London Stadium on the final day of the season, but Spurs’ win over Everton confirmed relegation.

David Sullivan looked confused and lost while hiding away in the Gods of the stadium, while all the dirt is now coming out, including new information regarding Nuno.

The Athletic revealed after the meaningless over Leeds that Todibo told Nuno he would never play for him again when the West Ham manager hooked the centre-back in the first half of the 3-1 defeat to Newcastle.

Todibo has been nothing short of a failure since joining the Hammers from Nice in a deal worth £38million, and should face the consequences after essentially going AWOL in a relegation fight.

Jean-Clair Todibo should never be allowed back in Rush Green after Nuno incident

West Ham’s 3-1 loss to Newcastle all but showed the proof of why the Hammers were set for relegation, especially with the resurgence of Tottenham.

Nuno hooked Todibo in the 25th minute of the game after the Irons found themselves 2-0 down early on, replacing him with Taty Castellanos, who scored a consolation later in the match.

Todibo’s performance vs Newcastle Utd

The Frenchman was said to have taken up his issue with goalkeeping coach Rui Barbosa, before then having a full-blown bust-up with Nuno in the dressing room following the conclusion of the bleak defeat.

He then reportedly told the boss that he would never play for him again and was subsequently left out of the squad for the Leeds game. You have to ask why it’s taken this long for him to be thrown out of the team.

The centre-back has been abysmal to watch, and his arrival, along with other failures, started the downfall of this club, which now finds itself in the Championship.

Somehow, Todibo was let into the London Stadium for the Leeds game, but he shouldn’t even be allowed to set foot in Rush Green ever again.

West Ham clearout will be the greatest window in many years

This upcoming transfer window will be an emotional one, with some of West Ham’s better players set to depart.

However, getting rid of players like Todibo will be a sight to see. Can you believe that a player would put his ego in front of a football club before a relegation finale? Everything was still to play for, regardless of the probability.

The only problem West Ham will have is finding club’s who will want to sign the very poor excuse of a defender.
